Last year I made this casual everyday desk for the office my wife and I both share. We wanted something practical and durable so I used solid oak for the desk frame. For the in-depth plans, please check out my advanced woodworking course, PoweredUp.
For any of the pieces that aren’t going to show, I’m using inexpensive Pine boards. I actually used inexpensive wood for most of the interior of this project so I could save the expensive Cherry wood and Oak for the most visible parts like the tabletop and sides.
