In last week’s Mere Mini, I gave a quick overview of the drill press. If you have just bought one, here’s a quick project that will let you test out and practice using its features.
Recently, Donald Schlit, a viewer of the show, sent me a simple pencil holder made from a block of wood with a bunch of holes drilled in it. While there is very little involved in making it, this pencil holder has become incredibly useful in my shop. Mostly because it can’t be cluttered with things other than pencils!
Funny how the simplest project can be surprisingly useful!
